| Japan from the Air |
Japan is small, but it has plenty of hustle and bustle, day and night, almost everywhere. The dynamism seems different when seen from the air, but it is just as real.
Right: After sunset, Tokyo is a sea of light. Here, we are above Shiodome Shio-Site in the Shimbashi district.
Below: From Shinjuku, one of Tokyo's sub-centers, buildings and houses extend far out toward the horizon. The metropolis of Greater Tokyo has a radius of only 50 km, but almost 30 million people live here. Tokyo is the political, cultural and economic center of the country.
