'Poppets Town' is acquiring a growing fan base both in Japan and abroad

'Poppets Town' creator Jun Ichihara has had a very active career. Since graduating from the design department of a Japanese university of fine arts, he has worked in such fields as advertising, magazine and book publishing, and stationery and sundry design. His style is reflected in his use of a wide variety of highly attractive colors, and in his creation of really cute, unique characters. His style is the reason why 'Poppets Town' is quickly gaining popularity not only among children, but among their parents as well.

The animated version has been receiving a great deal of acclaim too, not only in Japan but in the United Kingdom, Australia and other countries where broadcasting has begun. It looks like these picture book characters created in Japan will soon be capturing the hearts of children throughout the world.
