Among Professor YONEMURA’s experiments, there is a particularly famous one called the “air cannon”. Take a cardboard box and cover all the edges inside and out, as well as the corners, with two layers of tape. Then, poke a single hole in the box. When you strike the box, a mysterious and powerful bullet of air will shoot through the hole. With your completed air cannon, you can knock over things such as empty cans. Try challenging your friends- you’ll all have a good time. Actually, this is an air resistance experiment!

Soap bubbles fly for a little bit and then disappear. Wouldn’t it be great to make a soap bubble float in midair under your control? With Professor YONEMURA’s “Floating Soap Bubble”, it’s easy to do just that! In this experiment, which uses the power of static electricity (the thing that shocks you in winter), you can control the bubble with a straw, or just by moving your hands close, you can make the bubble float in midair when it should fall to the ground. This is an experiment you can do with just a straw and some aluminum foil, so why don’t you try it at home?
