By air
Fly from Tokyo's Haneda Airport to Komatsu (1 hr), then take a Hokuriku Tetsudo bus from the airport to Kanazawa Station (50 min).

By train
From Tokyo Station, take the JR Joetsu Shinkansen bullet train to Echigo Yuzawa Station, then board a JR Hakutaka Special Express train and get off at Kanazawa Station (4 hrs 5 min).
From Nagoya Station, take the JR Shirasagi Special Express train to Kanazawa Station (2 hrs 50 min). From Osaka Station, take the JR Thunderbird (Raicho) Special Express to Kanazawa Station (2 hrs 35 min). |
