Mega Web

With its slogan of "Look, Ride, Feel – Car Theme Park," Mega Web, one of the world's largest auto showrooms, run by Toyota Motor Corporation, is proving popular among car enthusiasts. This 24,000 square meter showroom has about 150 vehicles on display, including 70 different models. Though it has been open for less than eight years, it has already attracted more than 50 million visitors.

The centerpiece of this facility is the Toyota City Showcase, where new Toyota models are displayed before they can be seen anywhere else. Although visitors can test-drive cars that interest them, Saturdays and Sundays are so busy that it is difficult to make a reservation.

In Hybrid Wonderland, visitors can learn about hybrid thinking, which involves combining two things so that the resulting combination can do something that neither of the two elements could on its own. They can also learn about the latest hybrid cars, which combine a gasoline engine, an electric motor, and a battery. For children there is the Kids Hybrid Ride One, which makes hybrid vehicles easy to understand. Kids get to put together and pedal a motor-assisted hybrid cart.

Also popular is the Electric Vehicle Commuter. Visitors can enjoy riding this next-generation vehicle. And while catching a glimpse of the future, they can also take a nostalgic trip back in time in the History Garage, which has many historic cars from the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s.
