There are card-based arcade games like Mushiking; The King of Beetles, combat games, and games in which the player tries to win tokens. If you visit, you'll be spoilt for choice! While not as big as Tokyo Joypolis, there are other game centers throughout the rest of Japan where you can find not only the latest arcade games but also photo-sticker machines and games that young children can enjoy.
While Tokyo has any number of amusement facilities, one of the most famous is Tokyo Dome City. The centerpiece of this is Japan's first domed stadium, the Tokyo Dome, where professional baseball games are played. Right next door is Tokyo Dome City Attractions, which features many fun rides, including a Ferris wheel and Thunder Dolphin, a roller coaster that takes passengers on an 80-meter plunge at an angle of 80 degrees. Other attractions include a hot spring called LaQua, professional boxing and wrestling matches at Korakuen Hall, and the Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. Tokyo Dome City offers a huge variety of entertainment for both adults and children.
In addition, there are three game centers on the premises, all of which are popular. They have all of the hit music games like Beatmania, in which the player performs music by hitting buttons and "scratching" with the turntable. In the other music games, you can play the drums or guitar or even dance. Also popular in these game centers are the latest photo-sticker machines. You can make yourself appear as a superhero and print out stickers with your photo on them. This is fun for the whole family.
