Doraemon is the story of hapless elementary school student Nobi Nobita and Doraemon, a cat-shaped robot from the twenty-second century. In each episode Doraemon makes use of one of his many special futuristic tools to help Nobita. The show has been popular ever since it first aired in 1973 and has been adapted into hit movies and a manga series.
