In July 2007, the Tokyo Pokémon Center moved from Tokyo’s Nihonbashi area to its present location in Tokyo’s Hamamatsu-cho in order to allow as many people as possible to join in the fun. Inside, you can find goods that can only be found at the Pokémon center, including stuffed animals, writing goods, candy, and other merchandise. Also, there is a great array of other Pokémon goods, video games, strategy guides and other related items.

The Pokémon Center is a very lively place that attracts many Pokémon fans, and on weekends parents with their children are a common sight. Aside from sales of Pokémon goods, the Center also schedules many events such as opportunities to meet popular Pokémon characters, and chances to learn how to play the Pokémon card game. Also, there is the “Union Room”, which allows players to face off in the video game and exchange Pokémon. Tokyo Pokémon Center is truly an indispensable location for Pokémon fans.
