Yu-Gi-Oh! is a smash-hit anime franchise in which the main character squares off against various enemies in a one-on-one card game. The fourth series in the franchise, Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's (site is Japanese only), began airing in Japan in April 2008 and is proving particularly popular among boys who love card games.

This new series takes place in Neo Domino City, which is divided into an area for the wealthy elite and a slum area for the lowly and poor. Main character Fudo Yusei is a young boy living alongside his friends in the slum area known as Satellite. Yusei is intelligent, cool-headed, and cares deeply about friendship; his character conveys the touching message, "No one in this world is useless."
