Professional skier, Miura Keizo (100)
Since reaching the age of 70, Miura Keizo (born 1904) has skied down the Shangri Glacier on Mount Everest, and into the crater at the top of Mount Kilimanjaro. He spends more than half of every year at the ski slopes. He celebrated his 100th birthday in February this year at a ski resort in Utah in the United States with 170 friends and family members from four generations. They all skied downhill together, starting at an elevation of about 3,000 meters. "When it's too warm to ski I make sure I exercise three or four hours a day, walking and stretching. I haven't lived this long because I ski a lot, but because I have always wanted to ski even more."

Mei Ushiyama (born 1911) is a pioneer in the modern Japanese art of enhancing feminine beauty. She runs a cosmetics manufacturing business, beauty salons, and a beauty school. On top of all that, she still works as a beauty culture specialist. Her secret to being healthy and happy? Cleansing the skin, body, and mind. "To cleanse the skin, exercise to work up a sweat, and then wash. To cleanse the body, eat natural food to improve the digestion. To cleanse the mind, unbottle your stress and let go of your worries. That's what I do, and that's why I'm healthy. I switched to a diet of mainly vegetables, fruit, beans and fish a good 50 years ago, and I haven't been sick since."
