How can the cube be rotated without center pieces? This was once said to be impossible, but it has been done. The design was turned into an object said by many to be the world's most unfathomable 3-D puzzle.

Without the center pieces, it is even more difficult to make all of the pieces on one side the same color. Void Cube, which can bamboozle even the most talented puzzle solver, was launched in October 2008 after winning the 2007 World Puzzle Contest.
