Once the tour is finished, participants can taste soy sauce for free, and, for a small fee, can sample soy sauce ice cream or have a go at baking soy-sauce-coated rice crackers. People who visit the factory without being part of a school tour can watch a video about the company in Japanese or English and take a tour of the production facility.

"I didn't know soy sauce takes six months to brew," commented one student after taking the tour. "I think soy sauce is a valuable product," said another.
