Kudo Shin’ichi, a high school student and amateur detective, is forced to drink poison by a member of a mysterious organization. Instead of killing him, however, the substance turns his body into that of a child. Shin’ichi changes his name to Edogawa Conan to hide his identity.

Detective Conan got its start as a manga serial and was later adapted into a TV anime series and movies. All of the productions have been hits in Japan and have many fans overseas.

The twelfth Conan movie, a crime suspense titled Detective Conan Full Score of Fear, premiered in April, 2008. The story takes place in the world of classical music. Musical words like “Amazing Grace” and “perfect pitch” (the ability to recognize the pitch of a sound just by hearing it) are among the clues that Conan will have to decipher to solve the case.
