An old elementary school in Shinjuku Ward, near the center of Tokyo has a slide and a sandbox in the small schoolyard. The cream-colored walls of the box-like building are just like those of any ordinary elementary school. But you won't find any students or teachers at this particular school. Hanging from one wall is a bright red flag announcing that this is in fact the Tokyo Toy Museum.

Over the past few years, the number of students enrolling at the school steadily decreased. So at last, the building stopped being used as an elementary school and in April 2008, it transformed itself into the Tokyo Toy Museum. The museum displays many original and interesting toys from around the world, and it's a place where children can play games and have fun.
