A black pig and a white pig are cuddling up to each other, and it's hard to tell just from looking at them whether they're friends, siblings, or what. These curious characters have captured the hearts of middle and high school girls and other young women.

Together, the pigs are called Monokuro Boo (meaning "Black-and-White Oink"). With simple round eyes and distant expressions, they look like they could be either daydreaming or grumpy. Either way, they seem happy to be with each other. In fact, they seem to be in love. It's said that they have many friends, but they all look so alike that it's impossible to tell the real Monokuro Boo apart from the others. The bee flying around the pair seems to be their friend.
